Mrs. Delma Thena Thomas Ramsey , better known as “Thena” was raised in a loving
and Christian home. Born on January 13, 1954, she was the youngest daughter of the late
James and Josephine West Thomas.
Thena attended Manchester School and graduated from Furman High School in 1973.
She was employed at B & D Medical Supply company. She worked diligently for over 30
years until she retired.
She was a kind, fun-loving and outgoing person, who loved to shop. On early Saturday
mornings, she would check the paper for yard sales. Thena loved clocks, which she found
many at the yard sales, and she filled her home with them. She was a great joke teller,
which brought much laughter.
She never met a stranger, a hello was always on her lips with a smile. You were always
welcomed in her home. The first thing she did was offered food and to take something with
you. She was such a giving person.
