Mrs. Sherry Lynn Buck Washington was born on April 30,  1954, the eldest of four children born
to William V. Buck and the late JoAnn Wood  Buck  in Hanahan, SC.

Sherry was a fun-loving, adventurous and at times stubborn lady that loved the beach and music
of all genres.  Her fun loving ways and sense of  adventure was passed down to her only son,
Michael, who shares her lovable personality.

She was a devoted mother.  While working at the Coastal Center,
Sherry often worked a second
job to provide for them.  It was while working at one of these jobs, that she met the love of her life,
Raymond I. Washington.

     After a lengthy courtship,
Sherry and Raymond decided to join together in Holy matrimony on July
18, 2000,  officially combining their two families.  Michael now became a big brother to Raymond’s
sons, Zachary and Emmanuel.  Throughout the years, their family grew as the children married and
blessed them with four beautiful grandchildren that
Sherry lived for.  Her grandchildren; Sahaura,
Lahni, Charlie and Camille were her joy and she often said that they were her “Passion in Life”.

Sherry is preceded in death by her mother, JoAnn, maternal and paternal grandparents and a
father-in-law.

She entered into  eternal rest on Monday, April 24, 2017 at her residence.

She leaves to celebrate her life through the memories and love that they shared: her devoted
husband, Raymond Washington; 3 sons, Michael (Carmelita) Armstrong;  Zachary (Becky)
Washington and Emmanuel “EJ” Washington; her beloved father, William Buck; two sisters, Cynthia
Fisher and Tammy Iski; a brother, Victor Buck; mother-in-law, Rosalee W. Washington; 4
grandchildren, sister-in-law, Myra (Richard) Dyson; 6 nieces and nephews and 9 grandnieces and
nephews and a host of  other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at the home, 115 W. Pine Street, Lincolnville, SC.
