Mr. Robert Lee Williams, Jr. was born in Clarendon County on
December 13, 1969 to Robert Lee Williams, Sr. and the late Ruth Billie
He accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Mt.
Pleasant R.M.U.E. Church, where he served on the male chorus, Sunday
School Teacher and usher. He attended the public schools of Clarendon
County and was a graduate of Scott’s Branch High School, “Class of 1988”.
Robert was employed at Korn Industries and then South Carolina
Department of Transportation until his illness. He was a valued member of
the Dyson's Home for Funerals Family.
He was joined in Holy Matrimony to Cheryl Green Williams.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Howard Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memories and grow from his legacy: his loving
wife of 27 years, two daughters, Shantrell and Tamara Williams of the
home, three grandchildren, Kennedi, Kingston and Kayleigh, all of the
home; two brothers, Anthony Williams of Lexington, NC, Tracey Williams
of Paxville, SC and nephew, raised as a brother, Deondra (Rashaunda)
Billie of Tallahassee, FL; two sisters, Melody Billie Jones of Jacksonville,
FL and Veronica Williams of Paxville, SC; 5 nephews, Jarvis, Markeem,
Travaughn, Bryson and Darius; two nieces, Christen and Niya; two best
friends, James Sinkler and Cory Johnson and a host of aunts, uncles,
nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.
The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home, 5650 Rooster
Circle, Pinewood, SC. In accordance with the requirements given by the
CDC in reference to the COVID-19 pandemic, masks are required and
social distancing will be encouraged.
Mask are required for both viewing and the Graveside Service. No more than
ten people at a time will be allowed in the funeral home for viewing.
If anyone in your family is ill, please ask them to stay home during the funeral
service. We understand this is a difficult request; however, it is imperative that we
take every precaution to prevent the spread of illness and disease.
We strongly recommend that all persons continue to follow the guidelines of
social distancing; refraining from shaking hands, hugging, and kissing.
Please note that these are recommendations adopted by Dyson’s Home for
Funerals. Please remember that your attendance at any funeral service or public
gathering is at YOUR OWN RISK.
The Dyson’s Home for Funerals Staff will go above and beyond to
accommodate your requests and exceed your expectations. Still, we need your help.
